This Year’s Spotlight: Ministry Competencies

Ministry competencies aren’t a new idea — but it’s one that’s rarely gained real traction in cross-cultural ministry circles. If we want to design training and development initiatives that produce healthy, productive workers, it starts with defining the attitudes, knowledge, and skills that make that possible.

So we’re asking: Who’s doing this well today? How are they designing and implementing developmental initiatives?

If you’ve got a list, bring it! We’ll hear from those already walking this road — and challenge one another to do even better. “As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another” (Proverbs 27:17) — and that’s exactly the spirit we’re hoping to bring into this conversation.
